Natural Rubber
After half-century development, Yunnan State Farms summarizes a high-yielding rubber planting know-how at high altitude in northern tropical zone, making a great breakthrough in traditional rubber planting area with rubber planting in northern tropical zone, seeing the realization of the best natural rubber plantations in China. Yunnan State Farms is at the world level in natural rubber planting techniques and per unit production.
Natural rubber production is pillar industry for Yunnan State Farms Group. Yunnan State Farms Group has 26 rubber farms fro rubber production. Rubber plantations cover about 227,815 ha in Yunnan in 2003 of which 120,620 ha are under the management of Yunann State Farms Group. Yunnan State Farms Group also helps local people plant more than 6,700 ha rubber trees. Yunnan Province saw dry rubber production of 223,000 tons in 2003, of which 141,000 tons are from Yunan State Farms Group with an average output of 128 kg per Mu. Led by Yunnan State Farms, Yunnan rubber plantations cover one third of total area in China with a production area of one fourth of total, and a dry rubber production of one third of total. Xi Shuanbanna Branch of Yunnan State Farms Group has been keeping high yield of rubber for 11 years since 1993 with an output for per Mu of more than 130 kg. The production for per Mu was 139.37 Kg in 2003.
Yunnan State Farms Group has strong scientific and research background in rubber industry. The Group has rubber research institutes and some advanced rubber processing plants such as Yunnan Institute of Tropical Crops Research, Hong He Tropical Institute, De Hong Tropical Institute, Yunnan
Engineering School for Tropical Agriculture, Nan Hu Rubber Plant and Kunming Lian Yi Rubber Plant.
The natural rubber trading was conducted by electronic business trading system in 2003. This greatly cut down the trading cost and adjusted sales strategy. Great achievements have been made by this trading system.

Tea Industry
Yunnan Province has a long history in tea production and brand tea famous at home and abroad. Yunnan State Farms Group has most farms in tea production area with very favorable conditions for tea growth. Yunnan State Farms Group have held a set of comprehensive techniques in tea production since the Group initiated tea production in 1950's. The Group now has advanced tea processing plants and high-quality tea plantations. Yunnan State Farms Group has tea plantation of 4,034 ha in 2003 with an output of 6,736 tons. The tea production covers green tea and red tea. Da Du Gan Brand, Zhen Mie Tea and Luo Lin Tea are famous brands.

Sugar
Yunnan State Farms saw sugar production in 1956 centralizing in Long Chuan State Farm and Li Ming State Farm. Yunnan State Farms Group produced 560,150 tons of sugar cane with a plantation of 6,378 ha. The Group has 2 processing plants with daily input of 2,000 tons. The Group outputted 65,587 tons of sugar in 2003

Coffee Industry
Yunnan Arabica coffee is bestowed with good cup body and high yield. The coffee has high reputation in the world. Coffee production of Yunnan State Farms Group dated back to 1950s with Coffee Arabica as major variety. Yunnan State Farms has coffee plantation of 1,774 ha with an output of 1,693 tons in 2003. Yunnan Coffee Processing Plant, which is under the management of Yunnan State Farms Group, has sophisticated equipment and strong processing capacity in coffee production. It is the largest coffee processing plant in Yunnan Province. De Hong Tropical Institute is a pillar research institute in Yunnan State Farms Group for coffee production.

Tropical Fruits
abundant fruit resources. With strong research background, management expertise and human resources, Yunnan State Farms Group not only makes a structural adjustment in rubber industry but also makes a great progress in tropical fruits production. Grape plantation is the major supplier for Yunnan Red Wine. Yunnan State Farms Group produced grape of 9,607 tons in 2003. Yunnan State Farms has banana plantatoin of 1,196 ha with an annual output of 1,660 tons, pineapple 513 ha with yearly output of 5,914 tons, orange 745 ha with yearly output 8,639 tons, mango 958 ha and output of 5,427 tons. Other tropical fruits include litchi, longan and others.

Tourism
Many farms are located in national or provincial tourism area. By taking the travel resources and unique locality, Yunnan State Farms Group set up Yunnan State Farms Tourism Company, Liu Qiao Tourism Company, San Xing Travel Group for the development of tourism industry.
After more than ten years development of tourism industry, Yunnan State Farms Group has laid a solid and comprehensive service foundation for tourism development covering hotels, travel agencies, and tourism sites. The Group has 10 star hotels covering 2 three-star hotels, 7 two-star hotels and one one-star hotel. Dai Garden of Xishuanbanna, which is under the administration of Yunnan State Farms Group, has overage of 336 ha. It has been granted 4A tourism site. Tropical Garden in Xishuanbanna is the great attraction of tourists.
